The Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, CoGTA has recently established a Government Component called the Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent, MISA. ZIYANDA Consulting cc was appointed by MISA to provide support to the Sisonke District and Umzimkhulu Local Municipalities, as follows:

• Using the “Logical Framework Analysis, LFA”, developing a “Problem Tree” for service delivery
• Using the LFA approach, developing the “Improved Situation” for water and sanitation service delivery
• Identifying and classifying interventions to migrate the “Problem Tree” to the “Improved Situation” into:
• Urgent/Short Term Interventions to correct the current “negative” situation,
• Long Term/Sustainability interventions to ensure sustainability of service delivery after this project.
• Costing and Prioritisation of Interventions
• Implementation of Interventions
