Gamalakhe Water Supply Scheme

The proposed Gamalakhe Water Supply Project: Security of Supply aims to provide safe and reliable source of potable water to Gamalakhe Township and the surrounding rural settlement, within District Municipality:

• Construction of 600mm dia x 3.0km steel pipeline from Shelly Beach off-take to Uvongo off-take
• Construction of 450mm dia x 6.0km steel pipeline from Uvongo off-take to Gamalakhe.
• Construction of 4.5Ml reservoir in Gamalakhe.
• Construction of 0.5Ml reservoir and a pump-station building at the Ugu Sports Complex
• Mechanical and Electrical Equipment
