ZIYANDA Consulting is involved in the planning, feasibility studies and detailed design of both on-site and complete off-site waterborne sanitation systems. On-site systems include VIP Toilets, industrial wastewater pre-treatment, septic tanks and conservancy tanks. Off-site systems include conveyance systems, consisting of gravity collector and trunk sewers, pumping stations and pumping mains.

Thereafter, the collected wastewater is treated utilising appropriate process trains with infrastructure optimally designed, to meet the effluent discharge standards as set out by regulating authorities such as the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry (DWAF).

ZIYANDA Consulting is also able to assist clients in wastewater treatment plant operation, maintenance and training of their staff.
