Stick Farm Area consists of seven 19 privately owned farms. The primary objective of the project was to provide a safe and reliable source of potable water to the rural community of Stick Farm.
The project resulted in the implementation of the following infrastructure:
- Supply and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment at Stick Farm Pumpstation
- Construction of 500 m³ Stick Farm reservoir and Stick Farm Pumpstation
- Construction of 50mm-110mm diameter x 9,5 km long hdpe/uPVC gravity/rising bulk/reticulation pipelines in stick farm
The infrastructure was commissioned in 2010.
Beneficiaries: The estimated present day population of the Stick Farm Area is 3 200 people. The project population for a design horizon of 20 years is 5 300 people assuming 2,5% growth per annum.
