Stanley Mgutshini is a founding and managing member of ZIYANDA Consulting cc, a Civil Engineer of over 30 years post graduate experience as a roads and bridges, structural and water and sanitation engineer.

After having acquired experience in almost all facets of the profession and in almost areas of civil/structural engineering and at all levels of responsibility in both the public and private sector, the next logical progression in Stanley’s career was to found a consulting practice. In such an environment, Stanley would direct other younger staff members to navigate their careers.

Civil Engineer and Office Manager (Pietermaritzburg)

Gasa Mlambo is a civil engineer of over 20 years post graduate experience water and sanitation engineer. Gasa has spent 12 years in the municipal environment, managing water supply and sanitation infrastructure and implementing capital projects rising from a graduate engineer to principal engineer.

Gasa’s career in the consulting engineering field has seen him rise up to Principal Associate level with an international firm.

His latest experience includes project management of roads, bridges, water and sanitation projects and assisting municipalities with technical expertise to manage projects and the MIG funding in general.

With experience in roads, water and sanitation field in KwaZulu Natal and Mpumalanga in RSA and in the SADC region, Gasa is responsible for the provision of appropriate training for the young engineers within ZIYANDA.

Dubbed “The Trainer” Gasa is therefore responsible for sustained development of quality technical competence that enables ZIYANDA to be counted among the best engineering consulting firms.

Owen Moyo

Civil Engineer and Office Manager (South Coast)

Owen is a Civil Engineer of over 14 years post graduate experience in civil engineering works in roads and stormwater drainage, bridges, building works, structural, water and sanitation engineering fields in RSA, particularly in KwaZulu Natal and in the SADC region.

His experience in handling civil engineering projects includes preparation of business plans for sourcing of funding, design, tender documentation and contract administration, construction supervision and contract administration, up to hand-over. Recently Owen has been involved in the Department of Human Settlement housing projects as the design engineer and project manager.

Owen’s experience has seen him progressing from a Resident Engineer to a Project Manager for various project over the 12 years he has been with ZIYANDA Consulting cc. He is currently the Officer Manager for our South Coast office and assists with the management of the Newcastle office which he was involved in its establishment in 2009.

NKOSI MALISHE

Civil Engineering Technologist, Pr Techni

Nkosi is a civil engineering technologist with experience in civil engineering work spanning over 8 years in the design and construction management of various projects including water and sewerage reticulation networks, municipal roads, and general building works.

Mkhanyisi Ncube

Resident Engineer, North West Province, RSA

Mkhanyisi Ncube is ZIYANDA Consulting cc’s Resident Engineer for projects in North West Province. He is resident in Rustenburg.

Mkhanyisi Ncube is a civil engineer with five years’ experience in sanitation and water engineering. Mkhanyisi has practiced in KwaZulu – Natal, the North West and the SADC region. His experience includes preparation of tender documentation, contract administration and supervision up to commissioning. Mkhanyisi began his career as a graduate engineer on a sanitary landfill project and has developed to a resident engineer on a water reticulation refurbishment project in the North West. Mkhanyisi has spent his whole career in the consulting engineering environment providing technical and administrative knowledge in the implementation of various capital projects.

His key experience includes:
